Choosing a strong password is critical to reducing the risk of hackers accessing your data. Passwords should contain at least one uppercase letter, one number, one symbol and should be at least 8 characters long.
You should never use the same password twice or use one password for more than one application.
Avoid obvious alphanumeric characters that may relate back to you, such as your birthday or the date of your wedding anniversary.
Writing your password down and sharing with it others (even with close family members, friends and/or trusted personnel).
